Frequently asked questions
Does Pressay send my voice to its own servers?
Not with the currently published route: the model stays on your Mac.
Why does it need Accessibility?
Pressay uses it to verify the target app and field, then insert the result. Without it, the text is copied so you can paste it yourself.
What happens to my clipboard?
After a successful insertion, Pressay restores every item and format that existed before dictation. A concurrent copy from you always wins.
Is Cloud required?
No. Local dictation works offline, without an account or quota.
